Hello, Hi. My name is Nur Fazidah binti Elias. Nur Fazidah is my first name, Elias is my last name (actually it's my father's name). Among the colleagues I prefer to be called Fazid. I studied Computer Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and graduated in 1999 holding a bachelor degree with honors (majoring in Industrial Computing). I then completed my master of engineering studies in 2001 in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) at UTM. In 2011, with Allah's will, I obtained my PhD from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), focusing in the area of IS Success or IS Impact. Those close to me know how hard I struggle to get to the finish line.
In terms of job, I have worked as a tutor at Department of Industrial Computing, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia) from 1999 to 2001. I am currently a senior lecturer and a researcher at e-Service Lab, Centre for Software Technology and Management (SOFTAM), UKM.
In terms of research, I specialize in information system impact and optimization and my research interests include optimizing IT usage in manufacturing industry, machining performance and evaluation, the impact of IS/ES to organisations, system user satisfaction, and service science.
